SUMMARY:Walking Against Colonialism
DESCRIPTION:A seminar on postcolonial city tours for/by young people\n29 November – 5 December 2023 in Bern\, Switzerland\nBackground of the seminar\nThe streets\, buildings and museums of Europe are full of colonial heritage. European colonialism for centuries has exploited people\, land and resources in Africa\, Asia\, the Americas and Oceania and the consequences of this are clearly visible until today. To this day\, European governments and companies are contributing to and driving global injustices. European cities are still prospering thanks to their colonial wealth\, while many countries in the Global South are heavily indebted because of their history of oppression. \nPostcolonial city tours are an educational method that can bring awareness to European citizens. Many young people in Europe lack basic knowledge about colonial history and neocolonial power structures today. By showing buildings\, street names\, monuments\, artifacts or stories that showcase the colonial heritage and neocolonial present of a city\, youth can get motivated to hold their governments and companies accountable through civic action. \nOur objectives with this seminar: While several cities in Europe already benefit from having offers of\npostcolonial city tours\, we want to broaden the spectrum and motivate more youth organisations to\nstart their own tours. Some thoughts we have: \n\nWe want to exchange best practices around how to conduct postcolonial city tours.\nWe want postcolonial city tours to be an offer in more cities in Europe\, North Africa and Southwest Asia and support each other in creating them.\nWe want to discuss how postcolonial city tours can be used as an educational method specifically for young people on a local level and in international youth projects (such as volunteering camps\, youth exchanges\, volunteer preparation\, etc.).\nWe want to discuss how postcolonial city tours can be used as a tool of empowerment for BIPOC youth.\nWe want to discuss how postcolonial city tours can include intersectional perspectives (e.g class\, gender\, sexual orientation\, dis/abilities) both in terms of content and methodology.\nWe want to create a network of organisations and collectives that offer postcolonial city tours with young people and we want to stay in touch also afterwards\, creating a bigger follow-up project after this.\n\nOutcome: Apart from initiating new city tours and improving existing ones\, we want to: \n\nCreate a network of like-minded organisations working on postcolonial city tours\nCreate guidelines in English for youth workers on how to do postcolonial city tours with young people\nAdd a new chapter on postcolonial city tours as an educational method to the SCI toolkit „Picturing the Global South: The Power Behind Good Intentions“.\n\nThe participants will be awarded with certificates after participation and the practice phase. \nAbout the organisers: SCI Switzerland is part of the international network Service Civil International\n(SCI). SCI Switzerland organizes volunteering and educational projects that contribute to peace in a\nbroad sense: to social justice\, sustainable development\, equality\, solidarity and non-violent conflict\nresolution. While we have worked on colonial history before\, we are currently only developing our first\nown postcolonial city tour of Bern. Looking forward to exchanging ideas with you! 🙂 \nParticipant’s profile\nThe project has space for 25 participants. All participants selected for this project should meet the\nfollowing criteria: \n\nBe 18 years old or older\nLive in one of the countries of our partner organisations: Austria\, Belgium\, Czech Republic\, France\, Germany\, Ireland\, Israel\, Italy\, Jordan\, Netherlands\, Portugal\, Spain\, Switzerland\, Tunisia\nBe able to work in English\nHave experience with postcolonial city tours OR be active in an organisation and motivated to start a postcolonial city tour\nBe able to attend for the full duration of the seminar\nIf somehow possible and feasible\, be committed to come to the training without flying\, and to travel instead by overland route.\n\nWe explicitly encourage participants of all classes\, educational backgrounds\, genders\, sexual orientations\, abilities and ethnic backgrounds to apply. \nLogistics\, financial conditions and sustainability\nSimple life: The seminar will take place in a scouts center with very simple living conditions. You will sleep in a room shared with other people. We will ask you to bring your own sleeping bag + pillow and we will do our best to provide them for those for whom it’s not possible to bring. Showers are shared with other people as well\, we will make a shower schedule. \nMoney\, money\, money: We can cover all essential costs of the program (including food\, travel costs up to a maximum amount\, visa costs\, accommodation and seminar) through a grant by the Swiss government agency Movetia. Your sending organisation might ask for a small participation fee. \nSustainable food: The food we provide will be vegan. This is not just a practical decision\, but also an ideological one: SCI believes in the values of sustainability and climate justice – and if we want to contribute to a more peaceful planet\, we need to give up on industrialized animal agriculture and its destructive effects on our planet. \nSustainable travels: This is also why we ask you to come to this training through more sustainable means of transport rather than flying (e.g. by train or bus)\, if somehow possible. SUMMARY:ECOLab: Your Footprint is Youth Footprint
DESCRIPTION:Youth Exchange on Ecological Education\n| 22-29 October 2023 | Dyarbakir\, Turkey\nWhat is this project about?\nThis international exchange aims to bring 40 participants from 8 countries together to discuss/share experiences about local and global ecological issues of today\, information/knowledge about ways to protect the environment\, raise awareness among young people about the importance of sustainable living\, create an informative campaign\nthat each participant country can develop and implement in their community and try to find solutions together for this problem. We believe that environmental education has to come at an early age for everyone\, and should be a fundamental pillar of a complete education nowadays. What we do\, what we buy\, what means of transport we use\, how much trash we produce\, how we handle it\, how much water we use etc. Understanding our impact on the\nenvironment and how we can reduce it is of fundamental importance for young people\, not only because individual actions can radically affect ecological issues but also because radical collective actions require knowledge and tools from a younger age. First step for change is reflecting on individual behaviour and collective consequences\, the second one is changing individual behaviour\, spreading the word and organising collective efforts. These two\nfundamental aspects in ecological education and environmental protection will be the main topic of our youth exchange. \nAnother aspect we are going to explore regards environmental practices in daily work with young people and in our activities. We want to address a common problem for our daily work which concerns the application of environmental-friendly practices in Erasmus+ projects. In this sense\, we will discuss and exchange strategies and good practices with participants in order to make a contribution for the improvement of Erasmus+ projects.\nBeside the topic a youth exchange is an occasion to meet international young people\, to engage into intercultural dialogue and cooperation\, to learn about other cultures and to develop long-lasting friendships. Last but not least\, it is a lot of fun! \nMethods\nDuring the youth exchange we are going to use a broad variety of non-formal education methods\, simulation games\, various team building activities and especially digital games such as kahoot\, flipped classroom\, Word Cloud Generator\, etc. We will focus on group work and discussions and will have various outdoor activities\, quizzes\, debates and field visits. We will as well try to collect ideas and materials so as to develop good practices and strategies. \nLogistics and financial conditions\nAccommodation & Food: All participants will stay in the guest house of Youth and Change Association in the city centre of Diyarbakir. It has 2 floors with 7 rooms and the building is made of steel within a few minutes walking distance to the Old Town. The food will be provided by our team in the guest house and during the whole week\,\nparticipants will try different traditional dishes. \nMoney\, money\, money: We can cover all essential costs of the program (including food\, travel costs up to a maximum amount per country\, visa costs\, accommodation and content) through a European project grant by Erasmus+. \nTravel expenses will be reimbursed according to the distance calculator rules and the maximum for each participant that can be reimbursed is: \n\n275€ for Greece\, Romania\, Macedonia\, Ukraine\, Armenia\, Georgia;\n360€ for Austria;\n20€ for Turkey.\n\nSustainable travels?: We ask you to come to this project through more sustainable means of transport rather than flying (e.g. train/bus)\, if somehow possible. We will give you more financial support in case you decide to reach the venue through sustainable travel. \nWho can participate?\nPeople living in Austria\, Greece\, Romania\, Macedonia\, Ukraine\, Armenia\, Georgia and Turkey. We unfortunately cannot make exceptions due to our funding rules. \nPeople with fewer opportunities prioritised. We will prioritise applications by people with disabilities and chronic health conditions\, migrants\, LGBTQIA+ people and working-class youth. SUMMARY:CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS: STRATEGIES AGAINST WAR
DESCRIPTION:Training on Campaigning and Advocacy\nKlosterneuburg (near Vienna)\, Austria | 25 June – 2 July 2023\nPart of the project “No War Anywhere! Engaging youth in antimilitarist education”\nThe Association of Service Civil International (SCI) is opening applications for an in-person  7-day training (including arrival and departure days). The seminar will be hosted by SCI Austria with financial support from the Council of Europe’s European Youth Foundation and the CERV Programme of the European Union. \nThe training aims to bring together 24 (future) peace educators and peace activists\, supporting them to raise their voices for peace\, and create a network of inspiration and support for their journey to carrying out peace campaigns against war and militarism between July and September 2023. The training will be based on principles of non-formal education\, which are participatory and dynamic. \nParticipants are expected to arrive to the training with a concrete campaign/ project idea linked to antimilitarism\, which will be developed with the support of the group. \nBackground of the project \nThe last year saw the escalation of war in Europe and around the world. People all across the world – be it in Ukraine\, Armenia\, Yemen\, Palestine\, Syria\, Tigray\, Myanmar or many other places – are forced to survive amidst and resist against war and military occupation and its devastating consequences. And even political decision-makers in supposedly peaceful countries decide to fuel militarism by exporting weapons\, investing in nuclear weapons and making trade deals with aggressors. With the climate crisis becoming worse\, the world seems to be going in a dystopian direction. We feel powerless\, angry and anxious when thinking about the future. \nStanding up for a world free of war and militarism. This training will focus on advocacy and campaigning. It aims to help young people get active and speak up on the topics of peace and antimilitarism. The programme will include reflection on how to use political communication and advocacy\, and build campaigns from an antimilitarist perspective. Young people with diverse experiences will be supported to design their own follow-up campaigns connected to the International Day of Peace. \nSCI wants to go back to its antimilitarist roots in 2023. This training is part of the year-long “No War Anywhere!” project. The project consists of these phases: \n\nSeminar “Utopias Against War”: 16-22 April 2023 in Rome\nTraining course “Strategies Against War”: 25 June – 2 July 2023 in Vienna\nLocal antimilitarist campaigns around International Day for Peace: July – September 2023\nVirtual exchange and follow-up projects: September 2023\n\nAs part of the project\, we will also create an online course and a toolkit. The project wants to strengthen antimilitarist education within SCI and to bring together young people affected by militarism. During this year\, SCI also wants to form stronger alliances with other peace networks (such as War Resisters International and International Fellowship of Reconciliation). \nObjectives\n\nbuild capacity in youth around advocacy\, campaigning and political communication\nanalyse and discuss the topic of anti-militarism and communication and advocacy efforts connected to it\ncreate action plans for awareness-raising or advocacy campaigns for the International day of Peace\n\nParticipation\nFinancial conditions: \n\nFood and accommodation during the training will be provided;\nTravel costs will be reimbursed after the training up to an agreed limit depending on the sending country;\nWe strongly encourage green travel (i.e. avoid travel by plane\, if possible; instead travel by train and bus). DESCRIPTION:Das Treffen wird ca. 1\,5 Stunden dauern und auf Englisch stattfinden. \nWir diskutieren gemeinsam mit den antimilitaristischen Aktivistinnen Nadja Schmidt von ICAN AUSTRIA und Sonja Bertram vom Internationalen Versöhnungsbund. \nIm ersten Teil des Workshops werden uns die beiden über ihre Arbeit gegen Krieg und Militarismus und für Abrüstung berichten: ICAN ist die weltweite Kampagne zum Verbot von Nuklearwaffen. Der Versöhnungsbund arbeitet zu Abrüstung in Österreich und setzt sich für Diplomatie zur Beendigung von Kriegen ein. \nIm zweiten Teil können Teilnehmende selbst praktische Tipps bekommen\, wie sie sich gegen Krieg und für Abrüstung. Dabei geben wir Raum und Werkzeuge\, um sich gegen Nuklearwaffen\, Wehrpflicht\, den militärisch-industriellen Komplex und andere wichtige Themen einzusetzen. \nDieses SCI Treffen ist Teil des einjährigen EU-geförderten Projekts “No War Anywhere!”. In den vergangenen Monaten haben wir uns auf nachhaltiges Leben\, Menschenrechte\, globales Lernen und Frieden konzentriert. \n\nThe meeting will last about 1.5 hours and will be held in English. \nWe will discuss together with the anti-militarist activists Nadja Schmidt from ICAN AUSTRIA and Sonja Bertram from the International Fellowship of Reconciliation. \nIn the first part of the workshop\, the two will tell us about their work against war and militarism and for disarmament: ICAN is the worldwide campaign to ban nuclear weapons. The Fellowship of Reconciliation works on disarmament in Austria and advocates diplomacy to end wars. \nIn the second part\, participants can get practical tips on how to stand up against war and for disarmament. This activist meeting is also part of the “Strategies Against War” training\, which will take place in Klosterneuburg from June 25 – July 2\, 2023. Come and discuss together with participants from different European countries! \nService Civil International is not only a network of organizations organizing volunteer projects\, but is also constantly interested in sharing knowledge. Activist meetings are a format where we reflect on problems and issues that concern us and we try to figure out together how to engage in meaningful activities for environmental\, social and political change. SUMMARY:Kulture – Enhancing Environmental Education through Methods and Principles of Permaculture
DESCRIPTION:Erasmus + KA1 Training Course\nCall for participants\n12-22 June 2023\,\nKlosterneuburg\, Austria\nWhat is this project about? \nPermaculture is a set of principles and practices that aim at the synergic and mutually beneficial integration of land\, resources\, social communities and environment. Moreover\, it is a framework for the design of sustainable human-environmental systems\, underpinned by ethical principles and globally practiced as an agriculture method aimed at the imitation of natural cycles. \nIn times characterized by environmental threats with disrupting consequences on economic and social stability\, permaculture provides a holistic framework for addressing environmental needs not only from the point of view of agriculture (biodiversity loss\, soil consumption\, land and water pollution\, overconsumption of resources etc.) but firstly from a pedagogical and educational perspective. \nDuring this project\, we will explore how permaculture methods and practices can help to have a\nbetter quality and innovative tools in environmental education. \nIn particular we will:\n1) gain awareness about the usefulness of permaculture methods and practices in fostering environmental education and in addressing relevant social-environmental needs;\n2) gain knowledge and competences regarding principles\, ethics and methods of permaculture;\n3) develop skills for designing practical educational sessions inspired to permaculture principles and methods;\n4) creating international networks between young people\, permaculture practitioners and interested organizations in order to exchange good practices and build impact of permaculture movement at the European level. \nMethods \nDuring both training courses\, we are going to use a variety of methods inspired to NFE and to permaculture practices\, trying to provide a fruitful mix between the two. Among the others we will practice critical\, systemic and visual thinking\, creative designing in permaculture and brainstorming. We will include games\, group discussion\, outdoor activities. We will use maps and visual tools. We will do some case studies\, talk with experts in the field and visit successful permaculture projects. Also\, we will engage into the creation of education tools for permaculture and sustainability. \nWho can apply? \nLiving in Austria\, Italy\, Spain\, Kosovo\, Greece\, Slovenia or Norway. There is no age limit. Unfortunately cannot make exceptions regarding this due to our funding. \nBe able to participate in the whole period of 12-22 June 2023 (June\, 12 and June 22 are traveling days). It doesn’t make sense for you to come to the project late or to leave early\, as you would miss important sessions. \nTrainers interested in environmental education or in permaculture\, permaculture practitioners and young change-makers. Minimum requirements is to be interested in the topic of the training course\, to have a strong motivation to act as a multiplier\, to be ready to participate even after the end of the training in dissemination and follow-up activities. \nREMEMBER! This project consists of two activities\, one in Austria (June 2023) and one in Italy (October/November 2023)\, which make a whole training course. We would really prefer if you could also take part to both. Mai um 18 Uhr in den Räumlichkeiten der Universität Wien\, in der Abteilung der Fakultät für Physik [1090\, Sensengasse 8] statt. Der Seminarraum\, in dem das Aktivist*innen-Treffen stattfinden wird\, befindet sich im Erdgeschoss\, gegenüber der Küche. DESCRIPTION:CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS\nUTOPIAS AGAINST WAR\nInternational Seminar on Antimilitarism\nRome\, Italy | 16-22 April 2023 \nPart of the project “No War Anywhere! Engaging youth in antimilitarist education” \nThe Association of Service Civil International (SCI) is opening applications for an in-person 7-day seminar including arrival and departure days). The seminar will be hosted by SCI Italy with financial support from the Council of Europe’s European Youth Foundation and the CERV Programme of the European Union. The seminar aims to connect 24 (future) peace educators and peace activists in an open and supportive platform\, empowering\nthem to imagine a future without war\, to exchange ideas and boost their capacities to plan and implement successful local and international projects against war and militarism. The seminar will be based on principles of non-formal education which are participatory and dynamic. \nBackground of the project \nThe last year saw the escalation of war in Europe and around the world. People all across the world – be it in Ukraine\, Armenia\, Yemen\, Palestine\, Syria\, Tigray\, Myanmar or many other places – suffer under war and military occupation and its devastating consequences. And even political decision-makers in supposedly peaceful countries\ndecide to fuel militarism by exporting weapons\, investing in nuclear weapons and making trade deals with aggressors. With the climate crisis becoming worse\, the world seems to be going in a dystopian direction. We feel powerless\, angry and anxious when thinking about the future. \nImagining a future without war and militarism – and getting active for it. With this seminar\, we want to empower ourselves by starting to imagine a future that is peaceful. We want to discuss what such a future could be like from the perspectives of young people from different European realities. We will address urgent and important questions (such as nuclear disarmament\, military-industrial complex\, masculinities and militarism\, etc.) and offer young people the space and tools to stand up for peace. \nSCI wants to go back to its antimilitarist roots in 2023. This seminar is part of the year-long “No War Anywhere!” project. The project consists of these phases: \n● Seminar “Utopias Against War”: 16-22 April 2023 in Rome\n● Training course “Strategies Against War”: 25 June – 2 July 2023 in Vienna\n● Local antimilitarist campaigns around International Day for Peace: July – September 2023\n● Virtual exchange around follow-up projects: September 2023 \nAs part of the project\, we will also create an online course and a toolkit. The project wants to strengthen antimilitarist education within SCI and to bring together young people affected by militarism. During this year\, SCI also wants to form stronger alliances with other peace networks (such as War Resisters International and International Fellowship of Reconciliation). \nObjectives \n\nTo explore the topic of (anti)militarism\, increase understanding of the systems\nand their effects;\nTo brainstorm and collect pacifist possibilities and alternatives to militarism;\nTo build the knowledge basis and support system for future local or virtual action.\n\nParticipation \nFinancial conditions:\n● Food and accommodation during the seminar will be provided;\n● Travel costs will be reimbursed after the seminar up to an agreed limit depending\non the sending country;\n● We strongly encourage green travel (i.e. avoid travel by plane\, if possible; instead\ntravel by train and bus). SUMMARY:Gender and Media free youth work(er)s
DESCRIPTION:2nd Training course for Youth Work(er)s\n| 02-09 March 2023 | Vienna\, Austria\nWhat is this project about? \nGender equality means equal visibility\, empowerment\, responsibility\, and participation of all genders in the spheres of public life\, including the media. Though having a big potential in promoting gender equality\, the media still acts as a tool that creates and maintains gender stereotypes and plays a big role in gender and cultural-based discrimination. \nHow can we respond to this as youth workers? With these training courses we want to uncover the role of media and individuals in achieving the fundamental value of gender equality and create awareness at the local\, regional and international levels. \nDuring the training we will discuss\, analyse\, understand and propose new approaches and views to those subjects using new digital media\, creative activities\, social and multimedia tools. After the first training courses for youth workers were held in Diyarbakir (Turkey) last October\, the second training course will happen in Vienna (Austria). We invite youth workers living in Austria\, Croatia\, Czech Republic\, Italy\, Latvia\, Poland\, Portugal\, Romania\, Spain and Turkey to come together from 02-09 March 2023 in Vienna (the 2nd is arrival and 9th is departure) to discuss with and learn from each other about gender and media. \nMethods \nDuring both training courses we’re going to use a broad variety of non-formal education methods\, such as theatrical performances\, simulation games and various team building games and especially technological games such as kahoot\, flipped classroom\, Word Cloud Generator\, QR Codes etc. We will focus on group work and discussions and will have various outdoor activities\, quizzes\, debates and field visits. \nLogistics and financial conditions \nAccommodation & Food: All participants will stay in the youth hostel guest house in Vienna 20th district The food will be provided by the hostel restaurant. SUMMARY:The Power Behind Good Intentions
DESCRIPTION:Training for European volunteering organisations\nInternational training\, 1-7 December 2022 in Innsbruck\,\nAustria\nBackground of the seminar \nWhite volunteers want to save the world. A lot of young people in Europe approach volunteering organisations with a well-intended “white savior” motivation: They want to “help” the Global South by doing a voluntary service in the Global South\, often wanting to work with children. Many potential volunteers don’t understand the global power relations that stand behind such a motivation: European colonialism for centuries has exploited people\, land and resources in Africa\, Asia\, the Americas and Oceania and the consequences of this are more than visible until today. Also today\, European governments and companies are contributing to and driving global injustices. \nVolunteering organisations need to be antiracist. European volunteering organisations that send volunteers to the Global South need extensive knowledge on the historical\, political and economic context that takes place in order to be able to make decisions whether they should send a volunteer to the Global South. If they do send someone\, they need good educational methods to talk about critical whiteness\, racism\, global injustices and the power structures these are embedded in. They need knowledge on how (not) to promote volunteering in the Global South\, p.e. on social media. \nSessions in this training will revolve around the following questions: \n\nWhat is the white savior complex? How is it related to colonial history?\nWhich motivations do European volunteers have for volunteering in the Global South? How can we deal with these?\nHow to prepare European volunteers for volunteering in the Global South?\nHow to change neocolonial structures in your organisation? How to show solidarity with the Global South?\n\nOutcome: With this training\, we expect you to be able to start institutional changes in order to make your organisation more ethical\, antiracist and anticolonial. We also expect you to do follow-up workshops with the contents you learn in this training in your sending organisation\, e.g. by taking over the preparation of volunteers or by doing a workshop on white savior complex. \nThis is part of a bigger project: This training is part of the project “European Youth for Global Solidarity”\, funded by the European Commission through Erasmus+. SCI Austria\, as part of this project\, also organised the training “Beyond Neocolonialism” in Vienna in July 2022. As an outcome of the two activities\, we will create an adapted version of the toolkit “The Power Behind Good Intentions”\, which SCI Austria has been creating with a series of postcolonial seminars in the past few years. \nParticipant’s profile \nThe project aims to gather 30 participants. Our main target group are people who are actively involved in sending\, preparing or promoting voluntary services of Europeans going to the Global South. All participants selected for this project should meet the following criteria: \n\nBe 18 years old or older\nLive in one of the countries of our partner organisations: Albania\, Austria\, Czech Republic\, Belgium\, France\, Germany\, Ireland\, Italy\, Jordan\, North Macedonia\, Portugal\, Slovenia\, Tunisia\, Ukraine\nBe able to work in English\nBe interested in the topics of the training and have a strong motivation to act as a multiplier\nAble to attend for the full duration of the training\nIf somehow possible and feasible\, be committed to come to the training without flying\, and to\ntravel instead by overland route.\n\nWe explicitly encourage participants of all classes\, educational backgrounds\, genders\, sexual orientations\, abilities and ethnic backgrounds to apply. \nLogistics\, financial conditions and sustainability \nSimple life: The training will take place in a seminar house with simple living conditions. You will sleep in a room shared with few other people.\nMoney\, money\, money: We can cover all essential costs of the program (including food\, travel costs up to a maximum amount per country\, visa costs\, accommodation and seminar) through a European project grant by Erasmus+. Your sending organisation might ask for a small participation fee.\nSustainable food: The food we provide will be vegan. This is not just a practical decision\, but also an ideological one: SCI believes in the values of sustainability and climate justice – and if we want to contribute to a more peaceful planet\, we need to give up on industrialized animal agriculture and its destructive effects on our planet.\nSustainable travels: This is also why we ask you to come to this training through more sustainable means of transport rather than flying (e.g. by train or bus)\, if somehow possible. SUMMARY:Learning Lab(oratory): quality non-formal education in the digital world
DESCRIPTION:Poland\, 27 October – 3 November 2022\nThe idea \nWith the Learning Lab(oratory) project\, we aim to improve the quality of non-formal and informal learning aspects of volunteering activities in our organisations\, in both physical and online formats. \nWe are a partnership of 9 organisations: SCI Austria\, CVS Bulgaria\, SCI Belgium\, SCI Germany\, CID North Macedonia\, SCI Poland\, Para Onde? There will be some useful information on the card topic\, and a possibility to write personal notes. The cards will be laminated and envisaged for multiple usage thanks to the wet-erasable technology used.\nInfographic on Inclusion – it will tackle the topic of how to make our non-formal learning activities more inclusive. It will collect and summarize the practical information and tips & tricks shared during the project activities and will give specific advice on how to equally include participants with fewer opportunities.\n\nWe will launch these resources during the Open Webinar in December 2022. \nResults \nThe planned results of the project include: \n\n56 trained educators\, volunteers and youth workers\, with knowledge and skills allowing to conduct high-quality educational activities\, also in remote and hybrid modes;\nincreasing the potential of 9 project partner organisations\, developing their network of international contacts and possibilities of joint projects;\nat least 100 European youth organisations will use our Facilitator’s Cards and Infographic in 2022 and 2023 or take part in webinars organised within our project.\n\nAdditionally\, thanks to new opportunities offered by remote education and new technologies\, we will be able to involve more persons from rural areas and representatives of groups with fewer opportunities in our activities. SUMMARY:Play for Peace
DESCRIPTION:A Critical Look at Games in Educational Work\nActivity 2: Seminar from 16th to 22nd October 2022\, Mali Iđoš\, Serbia\nCall for Applications\nThe Project \nPlayful activities\, games and energizers are very present in the activities of international Peace and Volunteering\nOrganisations\, such as SCI\, VCV\, and their partners. They are used in volunteer camps to bring the group together\,\nand to work on contents during seminars and trainings. There is hardly any volunteering group that does not play\ngames during their projects. \nBut why are we actually using these playful methods?\nWhat should we consider when playing?\nAnd what are good examples for games & playful methods? \nGames in educational work got institutionalised without considerably reflecting neither their use\, their advantages\,\nnor their challenges. On the one hand\, games can be very helpful and useful in the seminar context. On the other hand\, they can be criticised regarding the reproduction of stereotypes or as violating the personal space of participants. To debate the role of playful activities and games in volunteering activities\, SCI Germany together with VCV \nSerbia organise this project aimed at trainers\, youth workers\, group coordinators and volunteers. During the 1st Activity\, the Play for Peace Training in April 2022\, participants from different peace and volunteering organisations gathered in Sonthofen/Germany to learn about the use of playful activities and games in Non-Formal Education and their huge connection to discrimination. They discussed societal power structures and how these structures\, as well as stereotypes and discrimination\, can be present during playful activities and games. Participants are currently implementing the outcomes of the training in their local activities and try to use playful methods and games that are more inclusive and peaceful. \nNow we are looking for applications and participants for the 2nd Activity of the project\, the Play for Peace Seminar in Mali Iđoš near Novi Sad/Serbia. During the seminar\, we will have a more detailed look at playful methods and games. We will try out energizers\, simulation games and board games that are useful for educational purposes. We will critically reflect on the pros and cons of these games. \nWe intend to develop a Manual on inclusive and peaceful games and energizers for youth workers during the seminar. Therefore\, a big part of the seminar will be to collect\, to discuss and to gather more information for the Manual. \nThis seminar also gives space to connect to other international organisations and to get information about their ways\nof using playful methods that are sensitive towards discrimination. We will have a big open space in which everyone\ncan share methods and games with the rest of the group. \nAfter the seminar\, there will be a Follow-Up Period. Two\, three and four months after the seminar\, we will hold joint video conferences with the trainers and all participants. The conferences aim to finalise the Manual\, to share updates on new projects that evolved during the project\, to strengthen the network and partnerships\, and to provide support to the participants\, for further project implementation. \nThis call for applications comprises the last two parts of the Play for Peace project:\nThe Seminar from 16th to 22 nd October 2022\, and the Follow-Up Period until early 2023. \nYou can join the project even if you have not participated in the previous activities. Though having a big potential in promoting gender equality\, the media still acts as a tool that creates and maintains gender stereotypes and plays a big role in gender and cultural-based discrimination. \nHow can we respond to this as youth workers? With these training courses we want to uncover the role of media and individuals in achieving the fundamental value of gender equality and create awareness at the local\, regional and international levels. \nDuring the training we will discuss\,analyse\, understand and propose new approaches and views to those subjects using new digital media\, creative activities\, social and multimedia tools. \nTwo training courses for youth workers in Diyarbakir\, Turkey and in Vienna\,Austria. DESCRIPTION:FROM GROWTH MINDSET TO DEGROWTH ACTIONS\n \nMARIBOR\, SLOVENIA\n \n21. – 27. July 2022\n \nWHAT AND WHY? \n \n\nDegrowth is a concept\, movement and a way of thinking which main emphasis is not merely on calling for less growth\, consumption or production\, but more fundamentally\, in inviting one to shift and re‐politicise the terms in which economic relations and identities are considered. Training offers interesting points of departure for conceptualising and practicing alternatives to consumer capitalism also in connection with deconstructing\nour perception of citizenship. Degrowth is mainly addressed by researches and not practically oriented so also non-professionals could grasp it. SUMMARY:Beyond Neocolonialism
DESCRIPTION:Solidarity and activist training for youth workers\nInternational training\, 3 July online + 17-23 July in Vienna\, Austria\nIntroduction\nEurope is involved in global injustices\, both historically through colonial history as well as in the present through ongoing economic and political injustices. European governments and companies have been enabling and driving unacceptable working conditions\, land theft\, genocides and civil wars\, lack of access to vaccines and medication\, the disappearance of cultures and languages\, etc. in the Global South. It is more than urgent for Europeans to step up in two ways: \n1) to raise awareness for European involvement in global injustices and how this is related to colonial history; \n2) to hold decision-makers in Europe accountable for these injustices \nCreating campaigns with young people against neocolonialism. In this training you learn how to create social media or activist campaigns around neocolonialism. You will identify a struggle or hot topic you want to work on and you will work on it during the training in an international group. The campaigns we finish will be published online on the channels of Service Civil International (SCI) and its partner organisations. Participants will learn basics in campaign strategy\, how to launch successful social media campaigns\, how to put pressure on decision-makers and how to deal with backlash. \nTwo parts of the training: Online meetup with the group and with activists from the Global South as an intro to the training. From 17-23 July we meet in Vienna to create campaigns together. “Beyond Neocolonialism – Solidarity and activist training for youth workers“ is part of the project “European Youth for Global Solidarity”\, funded by the European Commission through Erasmus+. SCI Austria\, as part of this project\, will also organise a training around the white savior complex in volunteering in December 2021. As an outcome of the two activities\, we will create an adapted version of the toolkit “The Power Behind Good Intentions”\, which SCI Austria has been creating with a series of post-colonial seminars in the past few years. \nParticipant’s profile\nThe participants will be staff\, activists and volunteers from volunteering and youth organisations. All participants will be expected and stimulated to contribute to the activities and discussions. SUMMARY:DETOX YOUR PROJECT [Reacting to Toxic Masculinity in Youth & Volunteering Projects]
DESCRIPTION:International seminar\, 22-28 May 2022 in Madrid (Spain) \nAbout the Project \nMen who talk much and loudly in group discussions but do little of the care work? Or who make sexist jokes and generally take up more space than FLINTA persons (=Females\, Lesbians\, Inter-\, Non-Binary\, Trans- and A-Gender Persons)? This sounds familiar and you are annoyed by behaviours like this? At youth projects\, participants and facilitators are repeatedly confronted with challenging situations caused by male socialization similar those mentioned above or even worse. These behaviors make a seminar less comfortable for everybody and need to be addressed and reduced by the facilitators. Especially when we discuss topics like Peace\, Justice or Discrimination a safe environment is crucial. \n“Toxic masculinity” is the term coined for a harmful set of behaviors that some men still continue to uphold. There is nothing toxic about being a man\, but some men act in destructive ways based on the gender roles they learned during their socialisation and think that they need to fulfil those: violence\, intimidating aggressions\, hyper-competitiveness\, sexual objectification\, and emotional detachment. Misogyny\, homophobia\, and transphobia are often reinforced through these behaviors. Women\, non- binary people\, and also other men are the targets of these behaviors. And “toxic” men even direct these behaviors towards themselves because they feel that they do not meet what is required of “a real man”. \nWe have observed these behaviors on larger and smaller scales in our volunteering and youth projects. With “Detox your project”\, we want to address the problem and enable facilitators to deal with toxic masculinity in their projects. With varying interactive methods\, we will reflect on our own gendered socialization\, discuss the topic and our experiences within the group and deepen our knowledge about toxic masculinity\, sexism\, gender and patriarchy. Based on this\, we will develop strategies to deal with toxic masculinity in our projects and share these through a toolkit that we’ll write together at the seminar. We will also discuss ways how to encourage and shape alternative masculinities during projects. \nDuring the seminar we are going to use a broad variety of non-formal education methods\, such as world café\, snowball discussions\, research\, silent exhibition\, theatre\, visual harvesting\, arts\, energizers\, self reflection\, teambuilding games and more. \nThe team\nThe seminar will be facilitated by an experience team of trainers of SCI: Sima* Jakob & Mira Weinberger. They are active trainers in the field of anti-discrimination\, gender and climate justice. They cover different personal perspectives on the topic of gender and masculinity. \nOur objectives\n• Providing young workers with basic training in masculinity studies so that we all understand the\ncontext and background to the behaviors of young men\n• Normalize basic activities for gender-safe spaces\, also in projects where gender is not the main issue.\nE.g. asking for the pronoun for everyone or creating awareness for gender equality on seminars\, for\nexample concerning talking times\, distribution of care work….\n• Raise awareness of how toxic masculinity behaviors can be observed among young people and during\nyouth work.\n• Develop strategies on how to deal with conflicts around toxic masculinity and create methods for\ninterventions\n• reflect on own socialization and how their gender roles influence their behavior today\n• Build foundations to support young people in developing positive views and understanding of\nmasculinities\n• Exchange with other people and learning each other’s experiences: good and bad practices. \nOutcome\nAs an outcome we would like to create guidelines for youth workers and volunteering organisations on toxic masculinity\, possibly as an annex to SCI‘s „Free to be you and me” -Toolkit. \nThe venue\nThe seminar will take place in the youth house “Albergue Juvenil El Escorial”. It is located in San Lorenzo de El Escorial which is in the countryside about 50km northwest from Madrid. \nParticipant’s profile\nThe project aims to gather 17 participants (up to 1-2 per partner organization). The participants will be youth workers\, trainers as well as staff\, activists\, camp coordinators and active volunteers from volunteering organizations. The seminar is open for all genders. All participants selected for this project should meet the following criteria: \n● be vaccinated against Covid 19 or recovered (obligation – see exact rules on the next page)\n● be 18 years old or older\n● be able to work in English\n● be interested in the seminar topics and have a strong motivation to act as a multiplier \n● Able to attend for the full duration of the seminar\n● be committed to spreading their new skills and competences to their sending branches\, e.g. via a workshop or a camp coordinator training\n● If somehow possible and feasible\, be committed to come to the seminar without flying\, and to\ntravel instead by overland route. \nWe explicitly encourage participants of all classes\, educational backgrounds\, genders\, sexual orientations\, abilities and ethnic backgrounds to apply. For this project you should either have the nationality of one of the following countries or living in one of them: Armenia\, Austria\, Bulgaria\, Finnland\, Georgia\, Germany\, Italia\, North Macedonia\, Polonia\, Rusia\, Serbia\, Spain\, Turkey. \nPlease note that there will be just few opportunities to visit the region\, but that this is not a “sightseeing” project. This seminar is a serious commitment\, and it needs to be taken as such. Thank you! \nLogistics\, financial conditions and sustainability \nSimple life: The seminar will take place in a seminar house with simple living conditions. You will sleep in a room shared with few other people.\nMoney\, money\, money: We can cover all essential costs of the program (including vegan food\, travel costs up to a maximum amount per distance (maximum travel reimbursement amounts: 10-99 km = 20 Euro\, 100-499 km = 180 Euro\, 500-1999 km = 275 Euro\, 2000-2999 km = 360 Euro).\, visa costs\, accommodation and seminar) through a European project grant by Erasmus+. Your sending organisation might ask for a small participation fee.\nSustainable food: The food we provide will be plant-based (vegetarian/vegan). This is not just a practical decision\, but also an ideological one: SCI believes in the values of sustainability and climate justice – and if we want to contribute to a more peaceful planet\, we need to give up on industrialized animal agriculture and its destructive effects on our planet.\nSustainable travels?: This is also why we ask you to come to this seminar through more sustainable means of transport rather than flying (e.g. by train or bus)\, if somehow possible. There are good train and bus connections to Madrid from many places. We will give you more guidance on how you can reach the venue\, once you are accepted to the seminar. \nCOVID-19 during the Seminar\nAt this point\, we assume that in May it will be possible to organize the seminar in-person in Spain. We will have a hygiene concept for the group during the seminar and will follow all regulations by the authorities. For the protection of all participants on site\, we will only accept participants who are fully vaccinated with one vaccine accepted by the Spanish government and the last dose (second or third) is not newer than 14 days and not older than 270 days. After it you need a third dose (booster). \n\nBioNtech/Pfizer Comirnaty/BNT162b2/Tozinameran\nModerna\nAstraZeneca/Covieshield/R-CoVI\nSinovac/Sinopharm\nJohnson/Janssen + a second dose with another vaccine from one of the above\n\nIf you’re recovered\, you need a Covid-19 recovery certificate. This is valid until 6month (180days) after your positive PCR test. After 6 month you need one vaccination shot with one of the vaccines\, mentioned above. This is valid 270 days after the vaccination\, then you need a second dose. We will also ask you to bring your own supply of FFP2 masks and a certificate of a negative Covid19 rapid test result no older than 48 hours (no exceptions). If the current situation in May forces us to do so\, we will either do it online on the same days or postpone this seminar to another date and will inform you immediately. DESCRIPTION:SCI Italy is looking for 1 group leader for the youth exchange : The Living Library Week\, which will take place from 4th to 13 th of May at La Città dell Utopia\, a social laboratory in Rome. \nA group of young people from Italy\, Catalonia\, Greece\, Hungary\, and Austria will have the opportunity to explore together the themes of emotional intelligence and interpersonal relations\, through the Living Library tool. Together we will become living books ready to tell our stories and to be read by other young people. \nThe Living Library methodology aims to build a positive framework for communication between people\, challenging stereotypes\, and prejudices through dialogue. The theme of each book is the life of a person\, and the narrator is the\nsame individual who\, through their voice and testimony\, shares not only words and expressions but also their own values and beliefs\, norms\, and myths of the communities in which they were raised. SUMMARY:Training: Play for Peace
DESCRIPTION:A critical Look at Games in educational Work\n16th to 23rd April 2022\, Sonthofen\, Germany\nThe project\nGames and Energizers are very present in the activities of international Peace and Volunteering Organisations\, like SCI and its partners. They are used in volunteer camps to bring the group together\, and to work on contents during seminars and trainings. There is hardly any volunteering group that does not play games during their projects. But why are we actually using these games? And what should we consider when playing? \nGames in educational work got institutionalised without considerably reflecting their use\, their advantages\, and their\nchallenges. On the one hand\, games can be very helpful and useful in the seminar context. On the other hand\, they\ncan be criticised regarding the reproduction of stereotypes or as violating the personal space of participants. To debate the role of games in volunteering activities\, SCI Germany organises this project aimed at trainers\, youth\nworkers\, group coordinators and volunteers. The project consists of 5 parts: 2 on-site activities and decentralised\npreparation\, implementation and follow-up activities. \nThis call for applications comprises the first three parts: \nThe Training from 16th to 23rd April with its online preparation period and the implementation and reflection period during summer 2022. However\, we recommend a participation in all 5 parts of the project \n\nOnline-Preparation Phase (starting mid march\, 1 month before the training)\nProject participants will receive the most important information for the project activities beforehand. This includes\ntasks for the individual preparation as well as questions and tasks to reflect upon.\nTraining (16th to 23rd April 2022)\nDuring the training in Germany\, the participants learn about the basics of the usage of games in educational work. The training will provide a basis for deeper discussion and reflection on problems and advantages of games with a critical perspective on power relations. Obviously\, in this training we will play a lot in order to add practical experience to the theoretical approach. The main topics of the training are:\nusage of games and energizers (why/why not?)\npeaceful playing for peace\nroles of facilitators/trainers/group coordinators\nhumour and fun in educational work\ngender-sensitive use of games and energizers\nstereotypes and discrimination in games\npros and cons of the gamification of educational work\n(dis-)advantages of educational games online\nfirst reflection on the content of a manual on peaceful playing in educational work\nImplementation and Reflection Period\nThe participants use the knowledge they have gained during the training to implement critical points and ideas on how to use games more carefully in their youth activities (e.g. in international Workcamps). They are asked to do a small personal reflection on each game they facilitated during their activities.\nOther Activities of the Project: As 4th part and 2nd activity of the Play for Peace project\, we plan another seminar in Serbia in autumn 2022. Participants will reflect upon their experiences with the games during their interim activities and discuss them further to develop a manual. Afterwards\, there will be a Follow-up Period to finalise the project outputs and start implementing new project ideas. There will be a separate registration for Activity 2. Participants of Activity 1 will be accepted for the seminar with priority.\n\nAll activities will be held in English language \nCall for applications\nThe Venue \nThe seminar will take place in the youth house “FUB der Falken Sonthofen”: https://fub-sonthofen.de/. It is a house\nowned by a socialist youth organisations and located in Sonthofen in the southern part of Germany around 2 hours\ntrain ride from Munich. Sonthofen is well connected to public transport and the house is very close to a lake and to\nthe mountains. \nThe Team \nThe seminar will be facilitated by an experience team of trainers of SCI: Marie Rolf\, Simon* Jakob and Hasna El Hiyani \nAims of the project \n\nCritically reflect on games used in non-formal education through sensibilisation for different forms of discrimination as well as safer spaces to create more inclusive youth and volunteering projects.\nRaise awareness and understanding of intersectional perspectives (global justice\, gender\, class\, race\, inclusion\, climate justice) when facilitating and organising youth projects by developing and sharing inclusive\, diverse and power-critical games\nUnderstand the role of peace and human rights in games in educational work\nImprove the quality of NFE instruments that can be used in future events\, projects\, trainings\, seminars and general meetings\nProvide youth workers with tools and methods for power-critical\, inclusive and peaceful games in educational work\nCreate a manual for games in educational work\, that includes underlying concepts\, shared experiences with safe spaces in games and guidelines for peaceful playing\nCreate more and stronger alliances and solidarity in the peace and volunteering movement\n\nOutcome \nInspiration for manual–contents: NFE methods about peaceful playing\, critical look on gamification of educational work\, tips and tricks for inclusive and sensitive games in educational work \nConcept and kick-off for research implantation period \nMethods \nWe’re going to use a broad variety of non-formal education methods\, such as world cafe\, snowball discussions\, re-\nsearch\, silent exhibition\, simulation games\, theatre\, visual harvesting\, arts\, energizers\, role games\, team building ac-\ntivities and more. As this training is about peaceful playing we will use many games and energizer methods in this training for critical reflection. \nParticipants Profile\nEveryone who comes to this seminar should… \n\nbe vaccinated against Covid 19 or recovered (obligation)\nideally be an active member and be involved in the process and decision structures of their sending organisation\nhave some experience in international group works as participant or better as trainer/facilitator or group\ncoordinator\nbe interested in learning more about the use of games in groups and to discuss this critically\nbe aware of power structures and be able to approach them both sensitively and critically\nbe committed to abstain from flying\, but travel to the event via overland route instead;\nbe committed to spreading their new skills and competences to their sending branches\, e.g. via a workshop\nor a camp coordinator training.\nallow time and ideas for both the seminar and the finalisation phase;\nideally be motivated to participate actively in the production of the outcomes and in the implementation\nperiod\nhave sufficient English language skills (spoken and written);\n\nPlease note that there will be opportunities to visit Sonthofen and it surroundings\, but that this is not a “getting to know the region” project. On some days the seminar also foresees evening sessions. \nLogistics\, financial conditions and sustainability \nSimple life: The seminar will take place in a seminar house with simple living conditions. You will sleep in a room shared with few other people. \nMoney\, money\, money: We can cover all essential costs of the program (including vegan food\, travel costs up to a maximum amount per distance (maximum travel reimbursement amounts: 10-99 km = 20 Euro\, 100-499 km = 180 Euro\, 500-1999 km = 275 Euro\, 2000-2999 km = 360 Euro)\, visa costs\, accommodation\, and seminar) through a European project grant by Erasmus+. Your sending organisation might ask for a small participation fee. The costs will be reimbursed to you after submission of a complete expenditure summary and original receipts after project completion. \nSustainable food: The food provided by the house will be vegan. DESCRIPTION:International training\, 10-16 April 2022 in Rom (Italy)\nAbout the Project \nLet’s talk about gender! A few years ago\, research about gender-based discrimination within SCI\nvolunteering camps was published and it showed the many ways how gender oppression/\ndiscrimination/ violence/ etc. exist within our projects. In many projects\, we still face a sexist division of\nwork\, sexual harassment\, sexist and queerphobic jokes or sometimes also just a lack of awareness\naround gender and LGBTQIA-related issues. How do we react to this? How can we create safer spaces? \nWhat you can expect from this training: \n\nmore awareness around what gender-based discrimination and violence is\nqueerfeminist educational and conflict resolution tools to adress gender-based conflict (e.g. microaggressions\, sexism\, etc.)\nnon-formal education methods to address gender in volunteering and youth projects\nself-reflection about your own practice as a coordinator/organiser/activist\nsharing best practices with other coordinators\, organisers and activists\ngetting to know many great people from around Europe and Southwest Asia\n\nOutcome: In addition to the above\, in this training\, we want to create guidelines for camp coordinators\nto address gender-based discrimination. The guidelines will be published as an addition to the existing\nSCI toolkit around gender “Free to be you and me”. \nCOVID-19 during the training \nAt this point\, we assume that it will be possible to organize the training in person in Italy in April\, but we\nwill have to see how the situation around COVID-19 develops. We will ask all participants to be fully\nprotected from COVID-19 (e.g. vaccinated with booster shot\, recently recovered from COVID-19). We\nwill have a hygiene concept for the group during the training and will follow all regulations by the\nauthorities. \nParticipant’s profile \nThe project aims to gather 26 participants (1-2 per partner organization). The participants will be youth\nworkers\, trainers as well as staff\, activists\, camp coordinators and active volunteers from volunteering\norganizations. All participants selected for this project should meet the following criteria \n\nbe 18 years old or older\nbe able to work in English\nbe interested in the training topics and have a strong motivation to act as a multiplier\nable to attend for the full duration of the training\nIf somehow possible and feasible\, be committed to come to the training without flying\, and to\ntravel instead by overland route.\n\nWe explicitly encourage participants of all classes\, educational backgrounds\, genders\, sexual\norientations\, abilities and ethnic backgrounds to apply. Unfortunately\, the venue is not wheelchair-\naccessible. \nLogistics\, financial conditions and sustainability \nSimple life: The training will take place in La Città dell’Utopia in Rome\, which is a community house with\nsimple living conditions. At least\, we believe that the goals of “Youth Has a Strategy” are more important nowadays and we would like to contribute in the solidarity among youth workers from different countries.\n\n \n\nDuring the seminar\, there will be several methods used when participants can experience being a part of the Strategy in order to foster their emotional and rational understanding concerning this multi problem situation. Especially role plays\, forum theatre\, board games will provide them an opportunity to try them out being in different roles of a youth worker who work with young people with fewer opportunities. Participants can try out different tools and methods in a safe environment. Some examples for methods we will use during the seminar: individual work\, pair work\, small mixed group work\, national group work\, role plays\, field visit\, collage\, symbolise\, making definitions\, express a link between theory and practice\, drawings\, creating a ‘dreamland’\, insolent meal method etc.\n\n \nDuring the seminar we will engage in following questions: \n \n\n 	How can youth workers\, leaders contribute actively in solidarity and how can we be ‘a big international team’? What is the background of the Strategy in general?\n 	What are the characteristics of the multi problem situation regarding being a youth leader to contribute to the goals of the Strategy?\n 	Which methods can we use to achieve the goals of the Strategy and make it easily understandable for young people?\n 	How transnational youth projects supported by Erasmus + programme can support young people to create a holistic approach to reach the goals of the Strategy?\n\n \n30 participants from Austria\, Portugal\, Poland\, Romania\, Spain\, Estonia\, Italy\, Turkey and Greece. The seminar will be implemented in Diyarbakir\, Turkey on the 18-27 th March 2022! (18 th is arrival and 27 th is departure). \n \nEveryone who comes to this seminar should… \n \n\n● be motivated and interested in the topic\n\n \n\n● committed to participate in group discussions\n\n \n\n● bring ideas for seminar\n\n \n\n● have sufficient English language skills (spoken and written);\n\n \n\n● be committed to spreading their new skills and competences to their sending branches/organisation\n\n \nFinancial Conditions: \n \nThis Project is funded by the Erasmus+. That means that the participation is free of charge! Travel expenses will be reimbursed: We cover your travel cost according to Erasmus+ distance calculator rules and the maximum for each participant that can be reimbursed is the depending of the country of departure as follow:\nGreece and Romania : maximum 275 €\nAustria\, Estonia\, Poland and Italy: maximum 360 €\nSpain: maximum 530 €\nPortugal: maximum 820 €\nTravel expenses will be paid according to your travel documents/bills but cannot be paid more than maximum travel costs. \n \nAccommodation: \n \nAll participants will stay in the guest house of Youth and Change Association in the city centre of Diyarbakir.
