SUMMARY:WEBINAR: LOOKING FOR IMPCAT!
DESCRIPTION:LOOKING FOR IMPCAT:THE CAT IS NOT A TYPO! \nWebinar with Francesco Volpini \n“It is very difficult to find a black cat in a dark room.Especially if it’s not there”. \nHow can you know if your training courses and educational events bring change to the participants?Find out if you’re making a difference and how to measure your impact as a trainer and educator! The impact guru\, researcher and a fan of non-formal education Francesco Volpini will guide you through the process and effects of impact measurement in educational activities. \n13.06.202213:00-14:30 CESTZoom \nREGISTER HERE \nAt the webinar\, we will start from the recent experience of International Voluntary Service organisations around the world\, which aimed at assessing the impact of volunteering as a tool for popular education. \nNext\, we will look at the challenges and outcomes of participatory research in the context of non- formal education: where learning is intended\, organised\, and can produce transformational change for the individuals\, communities and organisations involved. By linking general concepts of programme evaluability and theory of change to the specific learning objectives and training and educational methodologies of our work\, we will try to start answeringthe most important question in evaluation and assessment research: \nWhat did you want to do (and how)? Is the black cat really supposed to be in the room?
