Art4Resilience: Creative Resilience Through Art

Art4Resilience: Art for Social Change in Sardinia

Even in the face of uncertainty, creative resilience through art offers us a way to reclaim hope. Too often, we find ourselves in isolation, overwhelmed by the injustices in the world, and disconnected from those around us. Yet through artistic expression, we can resist isolation and foster meaningful change.

Art is not only a tool for activism, but also a powerful means of building resilience. At Art4Resilience (held from June 18 to 26 in Cagliari, Sardinia), we gathered to explore how art, political activism, and resilience intersect.

Overall, art has always been a powerful force for change. It channels our deepest emotions, bridges differences, and brings people together. In this seminar, we explored what creative resilience through art means in practice, helping us rise above challenges and take action through artistic expression.

This youth seminar brought together a powerful mix of volunteers, activists, and creatives. Together, we explored the intersection of art, political engagement, and collective healing. Throughout the event, we exchanged knowledge on how to use art for activism.

Creative resilience through art is not just an idea—it’s a practice. It’s what happens when we refuse to let fear define us and when we imagine new ways to move forward.
