REPORT OF THE PARTICIPANTS
2nd Training course for Youth Work(er)s

After the first training cours for youth workers that was held in Diyarbakir (Turkey) in October 2022, the second training course happened in Vienna (Austria). Youth workers living in Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Turkey came together from 02-09 March 2023 in Vienna to discuss, analyse, understand and propose new approaches and views to those subjects using new digital media, creative activities, social and multimedia tools!
Youth Workers that took part in these training courses were working together to uncover the role of media and individuals in achieving the fundamental value of gender equality and create awareness at the local, regional and international levels.
Together, the participants have written the REPORT ON BEST PRACTICES TO ADDRESS ISSUES ON GENDER AND DISCRIMINATIONS
In the Report you can find general TO DOs and NOT TO DOs, suggestions on how to conduct a workshop regarding the issues of Gender and Discrimination, tools and activities that can be employed to raise awareness on these important topics as well as a section on how to support movemements that fight for the gender equality:
Apart from the Report, the participants have created various infographics, have gathered links and resources on the topic and various methods and approaches on Gender and Media.
