This education-based agricultural project focuses on edu-farming, sustainability, and community empowerment. Volunteers will experience village life and its rich traditional cultures; explore how organic farming and edu-tourism activities help support local farmers’ livelihoods; then share their knowledge with youth, schools, and communities in Bogor.
Volunteers will learn organic rice farming, mina padi (rice-fish systems), and making biogas from livestock manure. They will also experience local cultures/arts, like gendang pencak, traditional games, and river-based environmental activities. Following daily work, volunteers will also engage in cultural exchange, reflection, and interaction.
Volunteer needs to submit a Certificate of Good Behavior from their homeland’s authorities. The work consists of activities with children and youth. Open to all ages within the range 18-99.Link to application: https://www.volunteer.sci.ngo/projects/1257
