Description
The volunteer camp is intended to be a space for training and exchange between volunteers and the local community, explaining the project’s reasons and the values it defends. Through talks, debates and participatory workshops, we will reflect on the ecological crisis, climate justice, responsible consumption, and economic alternatives based on cooperation and mutual support. Visits to local initiatives in Spain will also be proposed, as well as practical and creative activities that favor a critical and collective look at the social and environmental realities that surround us.
Activities involved
Volunteers will assist in achieving the following goals:
- Creating a telescope-equipped wooden booth to increase accessibility to astronomy
- Decorating and preparing the new educational space
- Research projects on visible constellations, stars, and celestial bodies
Accommodation & Food
Participants will stay in the house where the volunteer work is carried out. It has a kitchen, mixed bathrooms, outdoor and indoor recreation spaces, and camping space.
