SCI Germany is looking for Volunteer Camp Leaders!
Where: Germany (different regions, based in Bonn between camps)
When: July – October 2026 (flexible start and end dates)

SCI Germany is part of an international network committed to promoting peace, social justice, environmental sustainability and dialogue between cultures.
Volunteer camps bring together young people from different countries to support local projects while sharing cultures, making decisions as a group, and building real community.
As a Volunteer Camp Leader, you make this experience possible by facilitating a safe, inclusive, and organized camp experience.
Camp leader responsibilities:
- Leading 2-4 international volunteer camps in different regions of Germany
- Supporting communication and conflict resolution
- Coordinating daily schedules, finances, and reports
- Preparing and following up camps with the SCI office
- Attend mandatory training seminar prior to your first camp
Food & Accommodation:
- Full board and lodging during all volunteer camps
- Accommodation in Bonn between camps
- Food allowance in between camps
What else is included?
- Monthly pocket money for the full duration
- Health, accident, and liability insurance,
- Reimbursement of travel costs (to/from Germany max. 250€ or upon agreement and to/from camp locations)
- Monthly ticket for regional trains across Germany
- Comprehensive training, preparation, and ongoing support from SCI Germany
Who can apply?
- Only for applicants from the EU
- At least 18 years old
- Live in Europe
- Speak proficient English (German is a plus)
- Have experience in volunteering, youth work, or group facilitation
- Flexible, open-minded and okay with simple living conditions like tents
