Why are we making this change?
The term ‘workcamps’ is difficult to translate across languages. As an organization, we work to promote peace across cultures and solidarity across borders. Which is why accessibility and clear communication are priorities of ours.
The work done in these programs is voluntary and collaborative. By calling them ‘Volunteer Camps’ we feel it communicates this more accurately.
What do you need to know?
The name of our camps has changed but not our mission. Our volunteer camps still aim to promote exchange between cultures and bring volunteers from all over the world together to collaborate at a local level.
