We are happy to announce the next dates for our SCI Austria Pre-Departure Training, taking place in residential form this year! This seminar is designed to prepare volunteers and camp leaders for their upcoming intercultural volunteering experiences. This training by SCI Austria is the first step to start your journey with awareness.
It’s not only about practical preparation, but about understanding intercultural dynamics, reflecting on global inequalities, and developing tools to dialogue and collaborate in contexts different from your own.

The training will take place in a community space featuring a 300 m² house surrounded by a 3000 m² garden, offering a consumer-free environment revitalized through volunteer initiatives. This setting allows participants to learn, exchange experiences, connect with other volunteers, and spend time close to nature. 🌿

Then this training is for you!
With this Pre-Departure Training, SCI aims to provide volunteers and camp coordinators with in-depth preparation for their intercultural volunteering experience, whether it is a volunteer camp in Austria or abroad, a long-term project, or an ESC program. Throughout the weekend, we will explore important themes related to volunteering and international exchange through interactive sessions, discussions, and group activities.
